I had a total blast at Bathhurst today in the GT3s

I was supposed to be part of a stresstest at Spa. 32 runners. Did some laps in a Ruf GT3. I didn´t see any big warping though it wasn´t the smoothest of affairs to join. Server crashed in the middle of the practise or if it was the lobby. Something pushed everybody out for a while. Then I got back my can´t start PCars bug so couldn´t rejoin before the qualifying. Will be interesting how it turns out.

I do have problem with the sound balance. I can´t hear other cars. LMPs of course but not other GT3s either.

Was that RD and a DS?

I still think it's a bit early for DS, they need to iron out some things.

^ Is that for me? If so, sorry but I don't know what RD and DS mean?

RD = RaceDepartment.com

DS = dedicated server

Yes. Got a race running that bug I have stopped me from rejoining.

Seems like if you do an unannounced pit stop you get a stop and go penalty for cutting in the range of some 1000 seconds sometimes biggrin

Those cars are totally nuts. Looks like you are on fast forward in the replay. Feels like it when you drive them too lol

I didn't like the Karts at all. Way too fidgety and fast for me.

Karts are fun. The 125s are not quite as fun as the 250s

Some more screens from pCARS. Settings are MED for the most part.

It got to do with speed not G's. The faster you go, the further away it focus. Like in real life i suppose.

Perhaps - but I'm pretty sure I've seen it going blurry when going round a relatively slow bend

Doesn't matter. Either way it's a cool feature.

Yeah, it is a cool feature (helmet cam). Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to work with triple screens, which is a bummer, cuz that's what I use.

Fantastic video, yes. Superb comeback to the cynics, no.

Unless I missed something, the game is still as broken as before that video was made. We don´t buy racing games to create pretty videos but to race. And this is the everyday Project CARS experience:
