  1. At least on those older type racing venues, the cars have the appearance that the tire is touching the track surface. These rfactor mods the cars always appear to be photo shopped onto the track. Sometimes the tire is partially buried in the surface. I just might dust off the wheel and give this a shot. Thanks for the post Lugnut.
  2. That is good to know they are dependable. I bought one well over a year ago and haven't broke the seal on the box yet. Unless someone offers up a price hard to refuse, I will keep it for future use. Thank you all for your responses.

Is there somewhere else that is cheaper? Logitech site only shows the G29.
  4. Are people really paying $599.00 to $1,000.00 for a new G27 Wheel and Pedals?
  5. Good Job Bob. Congrats
  6. Whats the purpose of this cable?
  7. This is what I wear when racing. Plus I use when I am out on the ice, icefishing.

  11. Thanks Marc. I enjoyed the article.
  12. We have snow and it has been very cold here in the land of 10,000 lakes. But, it is December, and just a week from the start of winter. With the below zero temps at night. The ice on the lakes is getting thicker. So my favorite winter activity is getting into full swing. Icefishing !! We went out yesterday and caught some nice panfish (Crappies and Bluegills). We set a couple Tip-ups out too for Northerns and Walleyes. No Walleyes but my nephew caught this nice Northern. It went 35 inches long. About 8lbs. So, we had a fish fry last night. Fried potatoes and deep fried fish.
  13. Dick was the definition of a true blue collar racer. He is a legend in these parts. I remember him pulling into the track in the late 60's early 70's with his Fords. I remember a late 60's Mustang. He always had the knight chess piece on the rear quarter panels. Dick would show up at our local track and you knew who the others drivers had to beat. Drivers like Dick Trickle I watched as a young man, they inspired me to one day race. God be with his family and friends.
