  1. Great points! I am really looking forward to getting back to it, only issue is that my new sim rig still hasn't arrived. BTW, what is rF2 like now for stability etc ... in long endurance races for both the server and client?
  2. Just to reiterate the strength of ISI's physics - this is a fantastic read (from a RL F3 engineer): https://drracing.wordpress.com/2014/01/03/how-close-is-close-enough/ I was immensely impressed. And that was from rF1.
  3. Yes - broadly agree there. Knocking out any existing bugs and transitioning to a proper DX11 GFX engine is a big step for me. And grabbing some bigger tracks / cars.
  4. I wonder how the physics will be further developed?
  5. Not at release in September. Engineers are completing dx11 work (mostly fully done now) before working on additional features. But it will come, probably within a year.
  6. New live stream: hosted session spa at night:
  7. Fantastic track!
  8. Hi everyone, 20 years ago I got my first inet connection: 20kbps down / 9kbps up over dial up. This week - in a newly built apartment - Fibre to the Premises was activated. Speeds still settling down. Can host a streaming server if you want Doug.
  9. Yes - it's being worked on. Primary benefits are that it won't come up to the 3.5GB limit in 32-bit. It means much bigger grids, although I can run quite happily 22 cars at the Nords on maximum level. DX 11 is better than DX 9 because DX 9 requires a copy of graphics textures to be kept in RAM - which exacerbates the issue. That is not a problem for AC's DX11. The bottlenecks at Spa in iRacing, for example, are caused by DX9 most likely.
  10. I think this will be an epic addition to AC. My favourite cars, the world's first laser scanned Nords for the PC and a bunch of core exe improvements (not needed to buy those improvement s btw). The next big step has to be to rewrite the graphics engine to allow more thsn one point source for lighting to allow night lighting and that - together with driver swaps - will deliver a pretty much unbeatable experience.
  11. Funnily enough, a couple of weeks ago I booked a racetrack dive in an Aventador - with the performance pack taking it to 750bhp. Can't wait.
  12. There is a FPS issue for me. 12 cars and my system struggles in the early to mid 30s. Running triples on medium settings. In rF2 getting 60+ for 20 AI.
