  1. Now I am seriously interested...
  2. Yup. Sums it up very nicely, IMO.
  3. I was (stress was) running it on a dual core 2.8 with 8 gigs of ram and a 650TI 2 gig. Mostly medium and some high. Unfortunately, the spousal unit managed to finally kill it for good last week, so it will have to be replaced some time. But it should be OK.
  4. Thank you!
  5. Donington National or GP circuit?
  6. Another legend gone... http://www.racer.com/north-american-racing/item/135362-tony-adamowicz-1941-2016
  7. Usually, I take most of what appears on PRC with a grain of salt, but in this case I think it's a direct hit. As I've said many times before, the last dirt game that you could put real world numbers into and get a correct result was Ratbag's DTRSC. And I had 3 ring binders full of them to choose from. If that's their game, it's total BS. Side note, I tried putting real world values into Race 07 FBMWs (and the RFactor mod), not so good either. Anyway, here it is. https://pretendracecars.net/2016/09/29/been-trying-to-get-beta-access-for-a-while/
  8. Between that and the business model, I believe I will have to give it a miss...
  9. Thank you for posting these. I'm enjoying them very much. I may have to pick this one up down the road.
  10. I will wait and see. Not terribly optomistic, tbh. I will buy the new product when they ditch the asinine subscription scheme.
  11. If you never had the opportunity to see him race or are unaware of his overall statistics, I don't believe there will ever be a driver in any form of motorsport that was as truly dominant as Steve Kinser during his prime. Even in the twilight of his career, he was pretty damn good.
  12. 1. Somewhat, but doesn't really enter into it (except for "takes it too serious" guy) 2. Nah, don't care 3. Mostly that 4-6. Sometimes I would also add that there's a lot of different options out there. I don't own them all. I also don't want to submit to RF2's subscription plan, but that's just me.
  13. According to the engineers, that would be perfect fuel mileage! True story, when we won at the Indy GP with Wickens, our engineer was chewing his nails during post race inspection because we had to have 1 litre of fuel for a sample and he wasn't sure we had enough. We had 1.2. After that, whenever the engineer said put 4 gallons in it, I'd put 4.5.
  14. I am shocked that you can run an engine on the yellow map without burning it up from being too lean. I never would have believed you could do it!
  15. Monday was a good day, yes! It's so hard to believe, I'm sure it's nothing compared to what he's going through. It's a wonderful thing for he and his family. The dynamics going forward should prove interesting. I don't see him going back to F1 to drive a bottom feeder. We shall see...
  16. That's Rossi and my big head in my avatar, so you can imagine how I feel about the results!
  17. You might enjoy this as well! http://www.racer.com/indycar/item/128235-indycar-pt-chevy-did-better-job-bottom-line
  18. Indeed. Either let them inovate or let it become spec racing with individual badges (franchises). I've about had enough of it to be honest. What a load of crap.
  19. I think Pat should go talk to Frank about how he got started in F1 before he started constructing his own chassis...
  20. Zero issues here, even using GME to switch the mods in and out.
  21. No steering wheels?!?!?!
