– Race 7 of the Virtual Endurance Championship takes us to the “sunny” state of Florida for the 12 Hours of Sebring. The historic Sebring circuit hosted its first race in 1950 and has hosted endurance races like the infamous 12 Hours of Sebring on its bumpy surface ever since. We will roll four drivers in the car today; Greg Hall, Jon Uyan, Brian van Beusekom, and Jordy Zwiers.
– After last weeks weather stricken VLMS race our eyes on Britain’s forecast, and it does look like a repeat of what we saw last Saturday. There is a 50% chance of precipitation which means anything is possible with the way the weather app worked the past two races. Jon is working on a wet setup, dry setup, and a hybrid setup to have all the cards ready depending on what we are dealt with last minute going into the race.
– Coming from 3 consecutive podium finishes and being in top 4 in all four races of the 2017-2018 season, #29 Simhq Motorsports LMP2 crew is getting ready for the famous Interlagos circuit. Setup will be a challenge for this race as there is as always rain chance. Last year there was an unexpected quick rain shower in the last third of the race even though the forecast was mostly sunny. – After 3 races and sitting pretty in P3, 14 and 4 point gaps to top runners respectively, we will be trying to close the gap to top runners while staying ahead of the chasing pack.
